Tweedle Dee-licious

Alice in Wonderland is making a comeback. According to a giant slice of pepperoni pizza at a Halloween party, there's even a new Alice moving motion picture in the works. If the pizza's right, then my Halloween costume was right on the money this year. I have to give credit to my friend, Taryn, who came up with the Tweedle Twins idea. I also have to give major credit to Kirk, the Visuals genius at the Berkeley American Apparel, who designed our custom fairytale outfits for us.

Party City: Beanie/Propellor $4.99, American Apparel: Shiny Ruched Front Tube Bra $14.00, Cotton Spandex Jersey High-Waist Skirt $28.00, Interlock, Pencil Skirt $32.00, Sash Belt $16.00, Urban Outfitters:Multi Bangles Set of 50 $18.00

Not only was our Alice in Wonderland themed garb a smashing hit at the party, the magical kingdom has been inspiring threads on a certain South Korean runway, as well. Designer Ha Sang Beg says of his fashion week designs, "My inspiration was Alice in Wonderland. I was imagining what would have happened if she fell in a pond and encountered a world of creatures, from flowers to dinosaurs" (Style.com).

Happy Halloween to all and here's to you finding inspiration to win "Best Dressed" at your Halloween haunts this year.
